Mara Dyer doesn’t think life can get any stranger than waking up in a hospital with no memory of how she got there.
She believes there must be more to the accident she can’t remember that killed her friends and left her mysteriously unharmed.
She doesn’t believe that after everything she’s been through, she can fall in love.
I don’t regret rereading this book! Ohmygoodness!!! Jamie Roth and Noah Shaw are <3! I’m having second thoughts nowww!!! Team Jamie? Or Team Noah?
How does it feel when your best friends died in an accident and you’re the only one who survived? How does it feel when your family doesn’t believe what you’re saying? Isn’t it hateful?
I don’t want to be in the position of Mara Dyer because of her situation. It’s really traumatic. All of them are thinking that you’re crazy and a psycho. One thing that I loved being her is having Noah Shaw (YAYY!!!) <3! The only person who understands her. The only person who’s willing to give up everything just for her.
(Anyways, when Michelle Hodkin went here in the PH, she told us that she sees herself in Jamie Roth.)
All those hallucinations, delusions and paranoia made her look like a crazy teenage girl. Another interesting thing is their superpowers –sort of-. If I were to choose one, I would choose Noah Shaw’s power.
Mara’s situation is hellish. Even though you want to believe that there are things which are impossible to see are there, how could you explain those to other people?
This book really gave me the goose bumps again! It’s really a creepy read. It’s creepy in a good way though. I definitely would recommend you this one!
