That feeling when I received my ARC of Crystal Crowned, I instantly started reading it. Not kidding. This is the final book in the Air Awakens Series and let me tell you excited I was to finally devour the last novel. I’m so happy for Elise.

Water’s Wrath (the 2nd to the last book of the series) left me hanging. Literally hanging. I was so pumped to read how Elise finalized and concluded this series and guess what? I’m not disappointed. Not at all. One thing’s for sure, Elise didn’t in any way rush the end of this series. There were so many great things that had happened. HOLY GUACAMOLE. I want to say more about, but I’m worried that I may write spoilers too. So no… not yet.

Vhalla and Aldrik has to be one of my most fave OTPs ever. Fine, I can share Aldrik to Vhalla, but Jax is mine. (ssshhh!) This story wouldn’t go on smoothly if it wasn’t because of the other characters too. Special shoutout to Fritz, Daniel, Elecia, and many more.

You see…. unfortunate events can also happen in fantasy books. At some point, it made me teary-eyed. Elise always crush my soul. She always wants to make her readers cry deep inside.

This series was so amazing. I wish Elise would write a novella or something. I really loved everything. If I would reread a series in the future, I’ll reread this one for sure! If you want a fantasy novel + something about friendship & family + with a touch of romance and drama, this one’s for you. Thank you so much for such a windy + a magical journey, Elise! ❤

5 stars!

** Jasmine Pearl’s POV 😛

As I read my much awaited book five of Air Awakens **i told you, my mom’s very excited for this one!**, the words breathe life as my imagination worked in wonders challenging my mind.

The book, even when classified as fantasy, had a realistic blend in daily life. My favorite line was said by Vhalla Yarl to her father.

“Because I stopped reading and started doing.”

I love that Elise transformed Vhalla Yarl from a simple librarian into the greatest windwalker. Some of us are like her in a way that our present lives are overshadowed by our past deeds and relations. At times, we are unaware that we could live extraordinary lives just because we are accustomed to just being ordinary. This book made me realize over again that family is incredibly important. When all is lost, coming home is the best gift to yourself. Good memories of home is good air to your soul.

Should this promising series ever come alive in the big screen. I hope that you, Elise Kova, will continue to use your God given talent in writing to inspire ordinary people like us. Thank you for writing the Air Awakens. As a thriving mom who finds pleasure in reading a literary treasure like yours, I hereby decree your books to be part of one’s home.
