THESE ARE SOME OF THE BOOKS THAT I’VE  READ AND I REALLY LOVED THEM TO BITS. GRAB A COPY OF THESE BOOKS, OKAY? OKAY.

WHAT YOU LEFT BEHIND BY JESSICA VERDI

whatIt’s all Ryden’s fault. If he hadn’t gotten Meg pregnant, she would have never stopped her chemo treatments and would still be alive. Instead, he’s failing fatherhood one dirty diaper at a time. And it’s not like he’s had time to grieve while struggling to care for their infant daughter, start his senior year, and earn the soccer scholarship he needs to go to college.

The one person who makes Ryden feel like his old self is Joni. She’s fun and energetic—and doesn’t know he has a baby. But the more time they spend together, the harder it becomes to keep his two worlds separate. Finding one of Meg’s journals only stirs up old emotions, and Ryden’s convinced Meg left other notebooks for him to find, some message to help his new life make sense. But how is he going to have a future if he can’t let go of the past?

HOW TO SAY I LOVE YOU OUT LOUD BY KAROLE COZZO

22718802When Jordyn Michaelson’s autistic brother joins her at her elite school, she’s determined not to let anyone know they’re related. Even if that means closing herself off to all her closest friends, including charming football stud Alex Colby. But despite her best intentions, she just can’t shake the memory of kissing Alex last summer, and the desire to do it again. Can Jordyn find the courage to tell Alex how she really feels—and the truth about her family—before he slips away forever?

ALIVE BY SCOTT SIGLER

23278532A young woman awakes trapped in an enclosed space. She has no idea who she is or how she got there. With only her instincts to guide her, she escapes her own confinement—and finds she’s not alone. She frees the others in the room and leads them into a corridor filled with the remains of a war long past. The farther these survivors travel, the worse are the horrors they confront. And as they slowly come to understand what this prison is, they realize that the worst and strangest possibilities they could have imagined don’t even come close to the truth.

ILLUMINAE BY JAY KRISTOFF & AMIE KAUFMAN

23395680The year is 2575, and two rival megacorporations are at war over a planet that’s little more than an ice-covered speck at the edge of the universe. Too bad nobody thought to warn the people living on it. With enemy fire raining down on them, Kady and Ezra—who are barely even talking to each other—are forced to fight their way onto an evacuating fleet, with an enemy warship in hot pursuit.

But their problems are just getting started. A deadly plague has broken out and is mutating, with terrifying results; the fleet’s AI, which should be protecting them, may actually be their enemy; and nobody in charge will say what’s really going on. As Kady hacks into a tangled web of data to find the truth, it’s clear only one person can help her bring it all to light: the ex-boyfriend she swore she’d never speak to again.

solitaire by alice oseman

20618110In case you’re wondering, this is not a love story.

My name is Tori Spring. I like to sleep and I like to blog. Last year – before all that stuff with Charlie and before I had to face the harsh realities of A-Levels and university applications and the fact that one day I really will have to start talking to people – I had friends. Things were very different, I guess, but that’s all over now.

Now there’s Solitaire. And Michael Holden.

I don’t know what Solitaire are trying to do, and I don’t care about Michael Holden.

I really don’t.

book review
{ I would like to thank Random House Kids for sending me a review copy of this book || THIS DOES NOT AFFECT MY REVIEW }
THE WALKING DEAD MEETS STAR WARS.
SHORT REVIEW:
I’ve been into a ████ING ROLLER COASTER ride.
LONG REVIEW:
I’m not really a HUGE fan of sci-fi books. It’s not that I’m not a fan but I RARELY read sci-fi. When I saw this book buzzing around the internet, I felt that this would be a GOOD book.
First of all, let me just say that I was astounded with Illuminae. The physical appearance, the illustrations, the designs, the words on its pages are really amazing and rad.
THIS NOVEL WAS TOLD FROM DIFFERENT POINT OF VIEWS. You will not see a typical conversation between the characters. EVERYTHING IS IMMENSELY DIFFERENT. IT’S NOT THE USUAL BOOK YOU’RE HOLDING.
CHARACTERS:
Kady Grant and Ezra Mason. I loved their names. They’re so unique. Their relationship seemed to be falling apart until this kind of war happened.
Kady was a good programmer / computer expert. Actually, she’s the only one left who knows the world of computer how to manipulate things using computer. I liked that. I’m studying Information Technology and I can relate to Kady. I loved her ability to program and code things. She’s such a computer genius! Thumbs up for that!
Kady lost Ezra. She didn’t know where he is. Do you want to know where he is? PRE-ORDER THIS BOOK .
AIDAN is an artificial intelligence. He’s so philosophical. Damn, he will make you think of everything.
PLOT:
I thought I’m misunderstanding some parts but… I’M NOT.
THE COOLEST THING ABOUT THIS BOOK IS THAT THERE IS A DEADLY VIRUS IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INTERSTELLAR WAR.
If you’re stuck in the middle of this situation, what would you do? Damn, I don’t know if I’ll let myself get infected by that virus. IMMA RUN AND RUN. I don’t know how Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman compressed those elements in 600+ pages but it’s really fantastic and clever.
I actually remembered CHEMISTRY and BINARY CODE while reading this book.
Anyways, I felt broke + wrecked after I finished reading this book. I don’t know what happened to me. I just need the 2nd book right now. GET READY. PUT YOUR SEATBELTS ON. GET READY TO GET INVADED. INVADED BY FEELINGS.
4 SHINY STARS FOR THIS BOOK! I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE SEQUEL !!!
