Book Modeling: Pros & Cons :)

bookmodeling

Hey everyone! It has been a while since I posted my first ever #bookmodeling photo in my bookstagram. Guess what? I’m enjoying it so far (except the fact that I’m running out of dresses to wear). I might as well share some of my pictures as a (not-so-professional) #bookmodel. xD

Pros:

  • It’s fun matching your outfit with a certain book!
  • This will help you find your creative side.
  • It’ll boost your confidence.
  • (You’ll find out if your outfit still fits you! xD)

Cons:

  • It’s time-consuming. It usually takes me up to 15 minutes to get the best shot.
  • Having this kind of photo shoot isn’t easy at all. Get ready because you might get sweaty after every minute. Instant workout, maybe?

TIPS:

  • Make sure that the things that you’re going to use for the photo shoot are ready.
  • Natural lighting is better.
  • Make sure that your camera has auto-focus or something.
  • Enjoy #bookmodeling! 🙂

Have you tried book modeling before? If so, how was your experience? If you haven’t yet, are you planning to be a #bookmodel soon? ❤

  1. how do you do it if there’s no one to take a picture of you? And no tripod? I’m attempting to balance my phone between two paperweights and it’s hilarious.

  2. That was a fun little post. I haven’t tried bookmodeling yet, but then I suck at keeping up with my instagram account in general :/ natural lighting is the best and it’s like non-existant in my flat …

  3. I love book modelling! I don’t do it often, because I don’t have the best background, and I’m often quite shy about uploading my pictures. It’s so fun to find a cute outfit that matches the book though! I love seeing the pictures, so I’m glad you’re spreading the word, so hopefully I’ll get more pictures like this in my Instagram feed 😀

  4. I’ve never tried book modeling before but I don’t think I’ll do it son. I’m too shy and I’m really not that good with picking clothes for myself. xD It looks really fun to do though! Maybe I’ll muster up the courage to do it in the future (and force my sister to pick my clothes for me). I found your book modeling photos on Instagram before and they looked really good. 😀 Thanks for the tips!

  5. I wish I dress as well as you and I am very picky if I tried to get my sister to take photos for me she would kill me XD.

  6. I really need to try this, I mean, it’s first time I’m hearing about this and it really caught my attention.
If you have any free time please let me know what you think of my shots on my blog and let me know if you think it would be a good idea to make one project on this topic.
    Thank you in advance
    peace and love!
